Background
Scott and Kevin Douglas, Founders of S and K Snowplowing and Lawn Mowing LLC in 2007, started out as being a father and son business. At the time, Scott was employed full-time as an auto mechanic for a Dodge Dealership for 25 plus years. While working at the Dodge dealership, Scott left his then 14 year old son Kevin to take care of the snowplowing shifts before he went to school in the morning. Kevin only being a freshman in high school had to hire his older brother, Jeremy, to drive the plow truck. Kevin sometimes would work all hours of the night and go straight to school with no sleep. In 2009, Scott was laid-off from Dodge and started S & K Automotive, leaving his son Kevin to fully manage S & K Snowplowing and Lawn Mowing LLC. S & K has now evolved into a family operated business with Jeremy Douglas, leaving his construction job in 2009 to become a full-time crew leader at S & K Snowplowing, Lawn Mowing and Automotive. After retiring from the City of Madison in Sept. 2011 after 29 years, Kim Douglas has joined S & K as the Finance Manager.

Over the Years -
Since being founded in 2007, S & K now has over 75 commercial and residential snowplowing and lawn mowing customers. S & K has dispatched 15 plow trucks throughout the surrounding Madison/Sun Prairie area, with over 25 well devoted employees. Our mission is to make sure that everyone of our customers are 100 percent satisfied with our services. We aren't satisfied if our customers aren't satisfied. Our logo is "Where Quality Counts to Us".
